Which visor fits my helmet? How to find the right model
Share
“Which visor fits my helmet?” is the question we get asked most — and the answer is simpler than it seems. The right visor depends on the model of your helmet, not just the brand. In this guide we show you where to find that model and how to get to the compatible visor in seconds.
Helmet model ≠ visor model
The same visor often fits several helmet models from the same brand. So what you need to identify is the model of your helmet — for example, AGV K6, Shoei GT-Air 2 or LS2 FF811. From there, the compatible visor is immediate.
Where to find your helmet's model
If you can't remember the model, it's almost always in one of these places:
- Printed on the base of the old visor, next to the side hinge.
- On a label inside the lining or on the chin strap.
- In the manual or on the helmet box.
- On the invoice or purchase email, if you bought it online.
Find the right visor, brand by brand
With the model in hand, choose your helmet's brand and the finder immediately shows you the compatible visor: AGV, Shoei, Shark, LS2, HJC, MT, Arai and many more. Always check your model in the compatibility list shown on each product.
Don't know the model? Let the photo handle it
If you can't identify the helmet, take a photo of it: our photo detection helps recognise the model and suggest the right visor. Still not sure? get in touch — we'll tell you exactly which one fits.
While you're at it, sort out the anti-fog
Since you're already dealing with the visor, check whether your model accepts an anti-fog lens: it puts an end to a fogged-up visor in cold and rain for good, and fits in seconds. Also check out how to replace the visor step by step.
